NM 599-US 84/285 On-ramp Improvements

The New Mexico Department of Transportation and Federal Highway
Administration are sponsoring a public meeting to provide information and obtain
your valuable input on a proposal to realign and reconstruct the east to
southbound on-ramp, including an acceleration lane, from New Mexico State
Highway 599 (NM 599) to US Highway 84/285 (US 84/285) in the City of Santa Fe,
New Mexico.

6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
Wednesday, January 22, 2020

Where:
Zocalo Condominiums Clubhouse
1301 Avenida Rincon
Santa Fe, NM 87506

Purpose: The proposed realignment and
reconstruction is intended to improve:
• visibility and merge distance at the NM 599-US 84/285 ramp, thus, enhancing safety
• drainage
• access, by closing the Viento Drive-US 84/285 intersection
• lighting (relocation of existing lighting)
• deteriorating center concrete wall barrier on US 84/285

Residents, landowners, and all interested parties are encouraged to participate in
the meeting.

The public can submit questions or comments about the project during or after the
